GUEST POLICY for Luncheon: To ensure as many of our amazing members as possible can join the fun at this highly anticipated event, we’re limiting non-member guests to one per member registration this month. As always, guests are welcome space permitting—if more than one guest is added during registration, additional guests will be placed on a guest waitlist to keep things balanced and give everyone a fair shot at attending.

CANCELLATION POLICY: Reservations canceled after the deadline will only be refunded if we can fill your spot. Call Sharon Purdy at 508-962-1300 or email sharonsmithpurdy@gmail.com

For check payments, please include your menu selection and drop them off at Sharon Purdy’s home at 10299 Porto Romano Drive in Porto Romano. You’ll find a white bench at the entryway with a shell container where checks can be placed. Entertainment

Doug MacGregor has been an illustrator and cartoonist for over 45 years. He has called Fort Myers home since 1988. Doug is originally from Binghamton, N.Y. and is a 1979 graduate of Syracuse University. He was the daily editorial cartoonist for the News-Press from 1988-2011 and still draws weekly cartoons for the Naples Press. Doug was Coordinator for the Arts in Healthcare program at Lee Health from 2011-2023. While at Lee Health he worked with disabled artists and brought art and music to patients and families during their stay in Lee Health hospitals. Doug believes strongly in the use of the expressive arts as healthy therapy in everyday life. With his humorous cartoons he loves to capture the unique nature and character of Southwest Florida. Doug is also a local musician. He regularly plays harmonica and sings in his classic rock band, The Rosada Project with friends around town. Doug also enjoys visiting schools, libraries, art centers and civic organizations sharing his talent for drawing cartoons. He has also authored and illustrated six children’s books, which are available on Amazon and at local museums and bookstores.

  • Newcomer’s Table: Perfect for those new to Hearts of Miromar.
  • Mingles Table: A great choice if you enjoy meeting new people. If you’re coming on your own or aren’t sure you’ll know anyone, don’t worry—this is the perfect spot to connect and make new friends!
