Our Purpose
Traveling Hearts brings together members who enjoy travel, cultural and historic exploration, and shared experiences. The group is designed to welcome all levels of travelers—from novice explorers to seasoned adventurers—and to foster connection, learning, and inspiration through storytelling, education, and group travel.
Mission
To cultivate a vibrant, inclusive travel community that enriches members’ lives through shared knowledge, meaningful connections, and thoughtfully curated travel experiences—both near and far.
Objectives
- Provide a platform for members to share travel insights, tips, and personal experiences.
- Offer educational opportunities through presentations, guest speakers, themed discussions, and recommended reading.
- Organize group travel experiences that deepen historic and cultural understanding and build camaraderie.
- Strengthen the Hearts of Miromar community through social engagement and shared passions.

What to Expect at Meetings
Meetings may include destination spotlights, member travel presentations, travel tips, workshops, guest speakers, and planning sessions for upcoming group trips. Each gathering is designed to be informative, inspiring, and community building.
Group Traveling Experiences
Traveling Hearts plans to organize two group trips per year, based on member interest and participation. Trips are designed to be accessible, well‑planned, and aligned with the group’s preferences.
International Travel
Our primary focus is on immersive cultural and historical experiences around the world. Members will be surveyed to determine preferred destinations and price ranges. All group travel will be planned with vetted travel agents or reputable tour operators.
Domestic Travel
Domestic travel opportunities may include national parks, culturally rich U.S. cities, and other destinations that offer meaningful experiences and easy accessibility.
Membership
Membership is open to all Hearts of Miromar members. Club members may bring their adult friends and family members as companions on trips. The group welcomes individuals, couples, and friends of all backgrounds, interests, and experience levels.
