Hearts of Miromar (HOM) was started by a small group of year around residents of Miromar Lakes. When the organization was formed, the objective was to create a social club, affording women of Miromar Lakes a forum to foster new friendships, strengthen current friendships and promote community goodwill.
Hearts of Miromar, Inc. is designated as 501©7 by the Internal Revenue Service. Payments to HOM are not deductible as charitable contributions for federal income tax purposes. If you wish any portion of a donation to be tax deductible, please see an Executive Board Member.
Today, we are 300+ members strong and come from a vast array of backgrounds. We have become a non-profit organization and are very proud to support various charities throughout the year.
Our monthly luncheon meetings are held at the Beach Club on the 1 st Monday of each month. On occasion, our monthly meeting is held in the evening to include spouses, significant others or friends. Meeting dates may change based on holidays or other reasons. Meetings are open to members and their guest(s), space provided.
We have numerous activities depending on the year and volunteers to Chair the clubs…from Book Club to Bars & Saloons….Bridge to Canasta…Casino to Chick Flicks…Day Trippers to In the Kitchen…Knitting to Lunch Bunch…Mah Jong to Supper Club or Wine Club…along with others.
Membership month is October of each year. Women who reside within Miromar Lakes, seasonally or year around, are welcome to join at any time throughout the year on our mission to make a dramatic difference. We look forward to Miromar Lakes gals joining us ….we know you will have an amazing time along the way with many new friends and we will help you feel right at home at the Hearts of Miromar.
